Disabled

After 36 days walking, on April 25, 2016, a disabled caravan arrived in the city of La Paz – Bolivia. Asking for the increase of its bonus to 500 bolivianos per month (72 USD).

They argued that their condition prevents them from getting a work with fair remuneration that allows them to support their families and take care of their health.

They stayed and camped in the streets of the city for almost 3 months. Months that were marked by protests, terrible abrupt police repression and the continuous closed position of the Evo Morales Government to dialogue and to grant that increase. The government consider that this increase would destabilize the economy of the country… And so, the days of cold arrived in the city, the fatigue, pain and lack of hope became greater and they had to leave without achieve their goal…!
